Looking for a way to explore the world while connecting with fellow Manitobans? The Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Travel program might be just the thing. This fall, the Chamber is hosting an info night on Oct. 3, at which you can learn all about the exciting trips planned for 2025. Whether you’re a seasoned traveller or someone looking for a new adventure, these trips are designed to make exploring stress-free and memorable.
The Chamber Travel program has already taken groups to Portugal, Tuscany, and Ireland. This November, a group will head to Germany. Now, with 2025 already on the horizon, plans are in place to visit Greece in the spring and the French Riviera in the fall. These trips offer more than just sightseeing—they provide you with an opportunity to travel with familiar faces from Manitoba, fostering a sense of community and shared experiences.
Traveling with a group of fellow Manitobans adds an extra layer of comfort and safety. Whether you’re navigating the historic streets of Athens or enjoying a winery in the French countryside, you’ll be doing it alongside people who share the same friendly, welcoming spirit that Manitoba is known for. There’s a certain pride in representing the province while traveling, knowing that wherever you go, you’re carrying a bit of Friendly Manitoba with you.

At the information night, you’ll hear about the two featured trips in detail. The Greece tour, departing in April, includes stops at iconic sites such as the Parthenon in Athens, Delphi’s Sanctuary of Apollo, and the Olympic Stadium in Olympia. You’ll also enjoy cultural activities such as a Mediterranean cooking class and Greek dance lessons. The French Riviera trip in November will whisk you away to glamorous destinations such as Nice, Monaco, and Cannes, with experiences like perfume-making workshops and wine tastings.
What makes these trips truly special is the way they bring people together. Travelling with a group means shared meals, laughter, and lifelong memories. Plus, everything is taken care of — airfare, hotels, experiences, and many meals — so all that’s left for you to do is sign up and enjoy the journey.
If you’re curious about these 2025 options or want to know more about how Chamber Travel Club works, the info night is the perfect chance to get all the details. It’s happening from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the theatre at The Wellington Retirement Residence by Venvi. Registration is complimentary but required, and you can sign up on the Chamber’s website: assiniboiachamber.ca
