City-owned golf courses open for business

Golfers itching to get out on the greens can now book a round on City of Winnipeg golf courses.
According to a news release, courses were set to open on April 19. Offerings this year include a new addition – the Canoe Club Golf Course, at 50 Dunkirk Dr.
Other courses include Crescent Drive (781 Crescent Dr.), Kildonan Park (2021 Main St.), and Windsor Park (10 Des Meurons St.). Prospective golfers can now book tee times online, by calling the pro shops at the respective clubs, or at 311.

Spring rates on green fees at Kildonan Park and Windsor Park courses are available until May 2, officials say.
