A new Ukrainian-Canadian mural titled “Pray for Ukraine” was unveiled at 492 Main St. last month.

The project was authored by Ukrainian activist Mila Shykota and was painted by Jennifer Mosienko, who has been commissioned to paint more than 40 murals in the city, organizers say.

Take Pride Winnipeg co-ordinated the project, which was sponsored by Shevchenko Foundation, Laing Family Foundation, Qualico, Bob Williams, William Loewen, Nick Logan and Christine Scene.
