Thousands flocked to Birds Hill Provincial Park for the 50th Winnipeg Folk Festival was held July 10 to 13.
Despite poor air quality owing to wildfire smoke, the festival was a sell-out, with performances by the likes of Bruce Cockburn, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Waxahatchee, Mavis Staples, as well as locals Begonia, Romi Mayes, and Fred Penner.
