Save Our Seine Tour: Where Does the Water Go?

October 4 @ 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Free

Join Save Our Seine for a one-hour guided exploration of the Niakwa Rain Gardens and discover how green infrastructure helps protect the Seine River. Through hands-on activities and interactive learning stations, we’ll explore how rain gardens filter water, reduce pollution, and create habitats for native plants and pollinators—even in fall.

You’ll also learn about the green infrastructure projects Save Our Seine is leading throughout the community and how these sustainable solutions are helping to build healthier, water-friendly neighbourhoods.

This family-friendly event will spark curiosity and help participants of all ages understand how cities can work with nature to protect our water. You’ll walk away with simple, meaningful actions you can take at home—and ideas for how to get more involved.

Whether it’s volunteering at a future event, removing invasive species, or helping care for the riverbanks, there are many ways to be part of the Save Our Seine community. Come discover how you and your family can make a difference.
Come dressed for the weather and ready to explore! Registration is free and open to all ages.
