Scott Miller and his talented team at NRG Athletes Therapy Fitness work with high-level performance athletes to achieve their goals of getting to the next level.

The team at NRG focuses extensively on physiotherapy, athletic therapy, massage therapy services including sport re-conditioning programs, acupuncture, and return to work programs. NRG is constantly innovating their approach to best accommodate a variety of clients. For example, their medical centre averaged 200 visits per month in 2015 and has now reached a capacity of approximately 600 visits per month.

Housed in the beautiful Seven Oaks Sportsplex, NRG is uniquely positioned to best serve local athletes who frequent the facility. However, their attention is also drawn to serving the greater North End community.

NRG is passionate about working with anyone from elite athletes, to someone looking to improve or maintain their wellbeing. The facility offers fitness boot camps, as well as various sport-specific programs for baseball, lacrosse, soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, and swimming.

In the community, NRG has partnered with the Seven Oaks School Division in 2017 to provide athletic therapy programs to young athletes at Maples, West Kildonan, and Garden City schools. In addition, NRG started a mobile physiotherapy clinic in 2017 to enhance access to treatment for those within the community.

Recently, the NRG team has been exploring and implementing new ways of helping their clients reach their goals. This year, NRG has expanded physiotherapy services and introduced chiropractic services. They have also welcomed Dr. Pilat, a Sports Medicine Doctor, who offers his expertise to an already impressive slate of dedicated professionals in the field of athletic therapy.

I believe that Kildonan is a great place for people to engage with their community through sport and activity. I appreciate that Scott Miller and his team recognize the importance of sport in our community and I commend their hard work in promoting an active lifestyle. NRG is an outstanding example of an innovative small business making a positive impact and motivating members of the community to be their best selves.

I am thrilled to represent such a healthy and thriving community. I encourage constituents to please reach out to my office at: nic@niccurry.com or 204-339-7852
