New phases coming soon to Quarry Ridge Park

There’s something for everyone at Quarry Ridge Park, a multi-phase master-planned community by Ventura Land Company located 20 minutes from the city.
The Stonewall-based development features a variety of lot sizes and lot types, as well as a mix of multi-family housing options.
“Quarry Ridge Park was envisioned as a community for all stages of life and family types within the housing life cycle,” said Tim Comack, Ventura’s vice-president of development.
“The primary focus is large building lots for single-family homes, including standard lots and even larger,park-view lots.”
Quarry Ridge Park already includes more than 150 new single-family homes built by Ventura Custom Homes, Warkentin Homes and Connection Homes, as well a 33-unit 50-plus adult rental community called The Renaissance that will expand in the future to 63 units.
Coming up this spring, Ventura Developments will build 32 units of affordable rental housing in a pair of two-storey walk-up apartments called The Haven, adjacent to the Renaissance, which will be open to any age or demographic.
Ventura Custom Homes will also develop a series of duplex townhomes, with 22 of these homes going on sale this spring.
“These will include two-storey duplex affordable homes and bungalow duplex retirement-style homes,” Comack said.
“Starting this spring, Quarry Ridge Park will feature a bare-land condominium community, Quarry Place Condominiums. This will offer prospective homeowners looking to get into their first home, or looking to downsize, an offering featuring smaller lot and home sizes in bungalow, split-level and two-storey formats on a private street.”
Steve Breton of Re/Max One Group draws attention to a few highlights of these new projects in the subdivision.
“We have just launched Quarry Place, which is a continuation of the very successful Prairie Place in La Salle where over 100 families have already decided this was the perfect starter home for their growing family,” Breton said.
“Quarry Place now offers a new, single-family-style home in Stonewall starting at $364,990, including lot and GST, with early bird incentives in place. Imagine your own home, your own yard and a large, detached two-car garage.”
Besides the selection of housing options, Quarry Ridge Park offers ample green space to enjoy. Nature surrounds the development, which was designed around 26 acres of natural prairie grasslands and 12 acres of oak forests, all linked by trails that connect to the rest of the town.
“The community includes miles of intertwined walking trails winding through the site, huge park spaces for your kids to play in and connectivity to all amenities in the town of Stonewall,” Comack said.
