The On Time Group offers electrical, air-conditioning, heating and plumbing sales and service, and also offers a full renovation division for kitchens, bathrooms, recreation rooms and more. The business is headquartered at 2-55 Myrtle St. and is owned by Mike Gilmour and Tyler Whitlaw.

I last wrote about On Time in 2016, when Tyler provided the responses. This time around I did a question and answer session with Mike.

WR – Are the people who work for you specialists in the various systems you work on?

Yes, we have licensed technicians in every division.

WR – Your name is not only catchy but lends itself to multiple applications and uses for slogans, such as “Time is on your side.” Who thought up the name with its many diversifications?

We found that the biggest complaint in our industry was lead time that was being given to customers –(for example) “Our tech will be there some time in the afternoon.” We work hard to provide and keep shorter timelines when providing appointment times, (so we can say) “our tech will arrive between 2 and 4 p.m. This was when the term “on time” came about and it turned out to be a great name for our company

WR – Do you have any plans to expand or relocate?

No, we are very comfortable in our current location and have no reason to relocate. We are in a very central location, which makes it easy to dispatch technicians.

WR – What are your guarantees?

That’s a great question – outside of the manufacturers’ warranties, the biggest guarantee I can give our customers is a promise that we will always work hard for them. We pride ourselves on providing great value and we will always stand behind our work.
