Standing up for Elmwood-Transcona

First and foremost, I want to thank all of you for putting your trust in me to serve as your Member of Parliament. It is a critical time for Canada, one that requires a serious approach and strong leadership from local representatives who are not afraid to put in the work and get results. As a 20-year unionized construction electrician, I have never been afraid of a hard day’s work. I am ready to get to work with my colleagues at all levels of government to stand up for all of us in Elmwood—Transcona.
In the first sitting of Parliament since the election, Conservatives have resumed the fight for working Canadians. We have been standing up and pushing back against the Liberal government on issues like EV mandates, Canada’s energy sector, mining, housing, crime, the ever-increasing cost of living, border security, the drug crisis, the US trade war and many more.
We will continue to hold the Liberal government to account on the issues that affect the hard-working Canadians in our community and in all communities across this great nation. We will advocate for policies that put our people first and place them back in charge of their own lives.

In the first few weeks since returning from Parliament, we have been meeting with your local provincial and civic representatives to build relationships. These relationships are the foundation for future collaboration to make this community better for all.
We have also been out in the neighbourhood participating in community events and meeting with residents to hear their concerns. I have met so many great people at the Hi Neighbour Festival, Celebrate Elmwood, Manitoba Council for International Cooperation, and the Transcona Biz Canada Day Celebration just to name a few.
My job as your Member of Parliament is to represent YOU.
My goal is to always be accessible and responsive to all our community’s concerns. I am here to serve you, and I will never forget that.
Please feel free to reach out at colin.reynolds@parl.gc.ca or give us a call at 204-318-1515.
I am and will always be, One of us. Working for all of us.
