Each year the Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce hosts its business excellence awards to recognize the achievements and contributions of businesses and organizations across West Winnipeg. These awards highlight the hard work, innovation, and community involvement that help strengthen our local business community.

Award recipients are recognized at the Chamber’s annual general meeting, where their accomplishments are shared with members, community leaders, and partners.

This year’s award categories include:

• Eco Leadership – Recognizing a business that has implemented a meaningful sustainability initiative or project that positively impacts the environment;

• Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Recognizing a young entrepreneur who has made a strong impact in the community by starting and running a business;

• Business of the Year – Recognizing exemplary leadership, industry excellence, and outstanding achievements that set a high standard within the Chamber network;

• Community Builder – Recognizing a business a business that helps strengthen the community through job creation, volunteer work, or environmental initiatives.

• Not-for-Profit of the Year – Recognizing an organization that makes a positive difference in the community through its work and mission.

• Innovator of the Year – Recognizing a business or organization that demonstrates trailblazing ideas, transformative practices, and meaningful innovation.

We encourage members, businesses, community members, and partners to submit a nomination and help highlight the great work happening in West Winnipeg.
