On Wed., Oct. 26, school trustees for Winnipeg area schools are on the ballot for the municipal election. Here’s the list of nominated candidates in east Winnipeg as of Sept. 20, the deadline for nomination papers to be filed:

Louis Riel School Division

Ward 1 – two trustees to be elected: Francine Champagne, Arnie Green, Jason Kochie, Tom Parker, Cindy Turner, Michael Yeo.

Ward 2 – two trustees to be elected: Irene Nordheim, Robert Page, Chris Sigurdson.

Ward 3 – three trustees to be elected: Brent Amos, Selina Bieber, Darlene Gerrior, Sandy Nemeth, Ryan Palmquist.

Ward 4 – two trustees to be elected: Pamela Kolochuk (acclaimed), Chipalo Simunyola (acclaimed)

River East Transcona School Division

Ward 1 – two trustees to be elected: Colleen Carswell (acclaimed), Sheri Irwin (acclaimed).

Ward 2 – two trustees to be elected: Curtis Bilewitch, Glenn Buffie, Sheri Hanson, Rod Giesbrecht, Amalia Slobogian.

Ward 3 – two trustees to be elected: Brianne Goertzen, Keith Morrison, Matthew Parkinson.

Ward 4 – two trustees to be elected: Brenda Bage, Rob Gigiel, Peter Kotyk, Susan Olynik.

Ward 5 – one trustee to be elected: Mike De Sousa, Shannon Hiebert, Greg Proch.
