La Poutine Week set to run until Feb. 7

There’s still time to sample some mouthwatering poutine dishes in restaurants and eateries across the city.
At press time, more than 70 local restaurants had signed up to participate in La Poutine Week — a national, annual initiative that cooks up a friendly rivalry between eateries and which runs from Feb. 1 to 7.
According to La Poutine Week’s website, the menu includes such creations as the commoner (Commonwealth Kitchen and Bar), butteriffic chicken onion ring poutine (Resto 12), peasant pulled pancetta parm poutine (Peasant Cookery), and truffle chicken poutine (Browns Socialhouse).
