Plenty to still enjoy at Festival du Voyageur

Festival du Voyageur 2025 might be more than halfway through, but still there’s plenty left for visitors to enjoy at FDV’s numerous locations until the gates close on Feb. 23.
At Fort Gibraltar, for example, folks can enjoy daily historical interpretations presented by the Université de Saint-Boniface from 6 to 9 p.m.
And in the Brasserie du Bourgeois, guests will able to get their groove on at a silent disco on Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m., while the same venue will host the legendary pea soup competition at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 23.

The volume will be turned up at Tente Rivière Rouge, as the venue will a lineup of musical acts in the final days of Festival, including Andrina Turenne (8 p.m.) and Corb Lund (10:45 p.m.) on Feb. 22, and Gérald Laroche (2:15 p.m.) and Les Blés au Vent (3:45 p.m.) on Feb. 23.
Meanwhile, the entertainment will continue in Tente des Neiges, with acts such as Mr Circus (Feb. 22 at 12:15 p.m. and Feb. 23 at 2:45 p.m.) and Micah! (Feb. 22 at 1:30 p.m. and Feb. 23 at 11 a.m.) taking to the stage.
Crowd favourites such as the fiddling and jig competitions will be held at Relais du Voyageur at Centre culturel franco-manitobain (340 Provencher Blvd.)
The fiddling competition will be held on Feb. 23 at noon, while the jig competition is set for Feb. 22 at noon.
Thanks to this year’s wintery weather, there are also plenty of snow sculptures for people to enjoy.
