The Meow Mania Spring Market & Adoption Fair, which was held on April 13 at St. Norbert Arena, was the place to be for cat lovers and feline fans.
The event — the brainchild of Pawparazzi Pet Photography owner Sabrina Naayen — included a cat adoption featuring several local cat rescues, as well as more than 35 vendors and a craft area. Several local feline celebrities were also in attendance for meet-and-greet sessions.
Naayen said more than 1,500 people attended the event, which was the second one of its kind that she’s organized. The inaugural Meow Mania was held last fall.

“People were lining up before 10 a.m. and we had huge crowds. The line was so long it took us an hour to get through! People were waiting so patiently,” she said.
At press time, Naayen said she’d be donating $362 to each of the rescues that were in attendance.
