Harold Hatcher celebrates 50th anniversary

Harold Hatcher School (500 Redonda St.) celebrated its 50th anniversary in style on May 28.
The celebration, held in the school gym, included past and present staff and students, community members, a choir tribute, student bulletin boards and displays honouring the late Harold Hatcher, as well as a walk down memory lane.
Harold Hatcher’s 95- and 97-year-old daughters Iris and Joan, respectively, were able to attend the celebration, as were Hatcher’s granddaughters, Karen and Audrey.
