Folklorama 2025 set to run from Aug. 3 to 16

After countless hours of planning and preparation, the 54th annual Folklorama festival is less than two weeks away.

This year’s Folklorama will run from Sunday, Aug. 3 to Saturday, Aug. 16, and feature 44 pavilions at venues across the city.

Week 1 pavilions (Aug. 3 to 9) include:

• Africa (Tec-Voc High School — 1555 Wall St.);

• Argentina “Tango” (Pembina Curling Club — 1341 Pembina Hwy.);

• Brazilian (RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg, south building, third floor — 375 York Ave.);

• British Isles (Heather Curling Club — 120 Youville St.);

• Caribbean (Centre culturel franco-manitobain — 340 Provencher Blvd.);

• Celtic Ireland (Fort Garry Curling Club — 696 Archibald St.);

• Chile Lindo (Holy Eucharist Parish Centre — 460 Munroe Ave.);

• Chinese (Winnipeg Chinese Cultural and Community Centre, dynasty building — 180 King St.);

• Egyptian (RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg, north building, first floor — 375 York Ave.);
