Transcona & District Pipe Band looking for new members
The Transcona & District Pipe Band is gearing up for another year and looking for new members from the community.
Potential students, aged eight to 14, can try out the practice chanter for bagpipes and drum pad for snare drummers.
The band meets Tuesday evenings at the Transcona Legion, upper hall (117 Regent Ave. E). The band will kick off the year with an open house on Tuesday, Sept. 16 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
