Fukumoto Fitness to host charity workout Nov. 1

On Saturday, Nov. 1, Fukumoto Fitness (50 Burnett Ave.) will host its 11th annual charity workout in support of the Anxiety Disorders Association of Manitoba.

“We’ve raised over $30,000 as a community so far and we’re wanting to make sure people know that exercise isn’t just for being strong, or looking a certain way, it has a most immediate positive impact on mental health and you can get this each time you train,” said owner Johnny Fukumoto. “Instead of working out with pumpkins, as we have for years, we are going to take everyone through an isometric workout, a low impact-high results workout that incorporates holding positions, using machines from our new Isophit program.”
