Halloween’s just about here, and there are plenty of ways to celebrate spooky season before kids don their costumes and set out to trick-or-treat.
• Heebie Jeebies (53071 La Salle Rd.) is back in action until Oct. 31. The Halloween extravaganza has added over 20 new characters and 35 new animatronic scares for the 2025 season, according to its official website. The collection of themed haunted mazes at the outdoor event include The Hollows, Cell Block 13, Bunker Z, Saskatchie Cuzzies, and Bobo’s Funhouse. Heebie Jeebies also features live entertainment, food trucks, photo ops, and carnival games. For more information, such as times and ticket prices, visit heebie-jeebies.ca
• A Maze in Corn will be hosting its Haunted Forest attraction every weekend until Nov. 1. The outdoor attraction will take participants of all ages — depending on the time of day — into the corn maze for a freaky, interactive experience. The website warns: “enter at your own risk, as our resident creatures of the forest come alive and lure you in with their haunting humour.”
