Over 1,400 children from schools across the city took part in Variety Manitoba’s Winter Wonderland event Dec. 9 at RBC Convention Centre. Kids were treated to magical entertainment, temporary tattoos and face paint, autographs from their favourite fictional characters, a free lunch, and a goodie bag of treats to take home. The event also featured a special visit from the big man himself – Santa Claus.
Variety Manitoba is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing programs, services, and specialized equipment to children living with disabilities. The Winter Wonderland event is a free, accessible opportunity to celebrate the magic of the holiday season without a price tag.
