Glenelm art show to take place May 24
The Glenelm Neighbourhood Association and Next Door Neighbour Studio are hosting the Glenelm Community Art Show on Sunday, May 24.
Registration for artists is open until Wednesday, May 20. Painting, photography, sculpting or any other artistic endevour are welcome, though smaller pieces are preferred owing to the space of the studio, with one-piece-maximum per artist accepted.

Walk for Dog Guides to be held May 31
The 40th Walk for Dog Guides, organized by Riverside Lions, West St. Paul Lions and Winnipeg West Lions and Pet Valu stores, is scheduled for Sunday, May 31.
The event will be held at the Norberry Glenlee Community Centre (176 Worthington Ave.). Registration is at 9 a.m., with the walk scheduled for 10 a.m. All are welcome to bring a dog or walk alone. All monies raised will be donated to the cost of dog guides. The event will also include games for children, a barbecue, a silent auction, and several vendors.
