Summer market in St. Boniface open Thursdays through the summer

Le Marché d’été St. Boniface Summer Market is being held every Thursday throughout the summer, weather permitting, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. until Aug. 27.
The annual event, which has been held since 2022, is located at Parc Joseph Royal (701 Tache Ave.) on the riverbank just north of the Provencher Bridge and Esplanade Riel. Organizers say the market supports emerging and experienced vendors while connecting the community to local products and producers.
The market forms part of a larger initiative called Jeudis Franco Thursdays, an initiative of the Economic Development Council for Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities (CDEM) and Tourisme Riel, which offers more than a dozen weekly activities that help keep St. Boniface’s core area streets hopping and provide something for everyone, whether they’re a resident or a visitor.
