HERITAGE NEEDLE ARTS SALE NOV 22, 2025

The Winnipeg Embroidery Guild is holding their annual Heritage Needle Arts Sale at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 755 Elm Street at Grant Avenue on November 22nd from 9:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Hand stitched items such as beaded or embroidered ornaments, home décor, cards, jewellery, and gifts are for sale with prices for every budget. Admission is free; cash, credit and debit are accepted for purchases. For every $20 spent, the buyer will receive a hand-stitched gift tag. There is also a complimentary door prize ticket per person for a hand stitched item. You need not be present to win.
All items being sold were adjudicated, ensuring top craftsmanship in embroidery of all types: Cross-stitch, Hardanger, Pulled Thread, Crewel, Brazilian, Stumpwork, Sashiko, Blackwork, Punto Antico, Canvaswork, Kaba Yubinuki, Goldwork, Appliqué, Silk ribbon embroidery, Surface embroidery and Thread painting. Members will be on hand to welcome visitors, show their work, and answer questions about it. If you are interested in stitching yourself, this is an opportunity to meet Guild members, see the wide variety of techniques you can learn, and consider joining others who stitch!
