Margaret Kentner and Rob Rose are partners in a new business venture in St. Francois Xavier.

They are renovating the village’s former Grey Nuns convent for operation as a nine-room guest inn. While there is much to be done, they hope to open the inn by next spring.

Kentner said she believes the picturesque rural setting of the inn will attract international tourists as well as Winnipeggers who want a break from city life.
