Baie St. Paul bridge closed

Highway 248 is closed at the Baie St. Paul bridge due to the bridge being damaged in an accident.

According to the RM of St. Francois Xavier, at 11: 45 a.m. on Wed., Feb. 25, Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation immediately closed the bridge. More details of the accident weren’t available, but the repair work required is estimated to take about a week.
