Tyler Mislawchuk (in red), of Oak Bluff, placed 10th in the men’s triathlon at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto on July 12. He did well in the swimming and cycling components, but broken ribs slowed him down during the running portion of the event. Prior to the Pan Am Games,

Mislawchuk was  training in northern Spain because of good weather and road conditions and the proximity to other European triathlon events. Mislawchuk placed 10th in the International Triathlon Union’s (ITU) World Triathlon Series race in London, England in May. This result moved him into 24th place in the world rankings.
