The Starbuck 4-H Combined Club held its annual bingo night in February.
The night was a great success and many people showed up. The members staffed a babysitting room. Besides running the bingo, club members also sold 50-50 tickets, and held a silent auction and ran a canteen. The night was full of action with one lucky group winning four silent auction prizes and a bingo game.
All bingo proceeds go towards the Starbuck Community Hall for allowing the club to use the facility for our meetings and events. We were also very lucky to receive donations for the bingo and silent auction from many local businesses.
We held our club achievement on April 27. It was a fun night with a lot of amazing project displays. The Best Display Award went to Danielle Somack for her fitness project display. After presentations were done everyone enjoyed visiting and eating snacks.
The Starbuck Club’s year has now come to an end, but you can still join us at the 4-H Fun Fest at the Red River Ex from the evening of June 24 until the afternoon of June 26. The provincial 4-H exhibit will be on display during the Ex.
