New development in La Salle
The tallest building on La Salle’s Rue Principale (Main Street) is starting to rise.
Marcel Vouriot, head of the Vouriot Group of Businesses that includes Tank Traders, a national barbecue tank exchange program, is constructing a three-storey mixed-use building at 54 Rue Principale. He said it will feature retail space on the main floor, an office for his company on the second floor, and a condo for himself on the top floor.

The approximately 15,500 square-foot building is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

“This is going to be a nice development for the community,” Vouriot said.
