Hey there, time traveller!

I don’t know about you, but one of my least favorite things to do is trying on clothes in stores.
Last week I had the pleasure of shopping in the comfort of an inviting home. As I sat across from Patti Blackmore (consultant with Style and Sass by Amanda) drinking a cup of coffee, I was in awe of the peace I felt as I anticipated trying on clothes hoping to take home a couple new outfits. Often, women struggle with body image issues. Small fitting rooms with less than flattering lighting and mirrors add to the discouragement we face. You can imagine how freeing it was to be in an environment that was stress-free.
Patti appreciates that she supports women in their personal journeys. The business motto is to help women, "Strut with Confidence!" Patti has an eye for putting together outfits, is graciously honest about her thoughts considering outfits clients try on, and has an infectious smile and laugh that draws women to her. She loves that she’s in a season of life transitioning from a demanding career to exploring her more creative side and engaging in this new business.
Patti offers more than leggings. Can you believe there are "leggings" that actually can be worn as business attire (some are lined)? She also has dresses, tunics, joggers, jeggings, and capris. Don’t be concerned about sizes. This is one of the only clothing lines I know of that truly embraces women of all sizes. If you’re also looking for something fun for little girls, Style and Sass by Amanda has you covered with their Little Miss sizes.
Style and Sass was created by Amanda Woodard and has three full-time and a few part-time consultants. The team members are often found at local craft shows, markets, and hospitals where she shares her products with more women across Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Amanda regularly travels and sources out new products to add to the product line (and is currently working with Cutting Edge and the Canadian Muslim Women’s Institute to add handcrafted products). She welcomes collaboration and truly empowers her team members for success.
