Registration for minor hockey is now open across northeast Winnipeg.
For players within the River East catchment area, registration is ongoing online at www.remha.ca/Registration/Registration.shtml until Aug. 26, with players assigned to their local community centre. In-person registration will take place on the following dates and locations:
• Chalmers Community Centre (480 Chalmers Ave.) — Tues., Aug. 21 from 7 to 9 p.m.
• North Kildonan Community Centre (1144 Kingsford Pl.) — Wed., Aug. 22 from 7 to 9 p.m.
• Gateway Recreation Centre (1717 Gateway Rd.) – Thurs., Aug. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m.
To apply for a subsidy, registration in person is required. Any registrations submitted after the deadline will be subject to a $50 late fee.

For players in the Transcona catchment area, online registration is open at https://www.transconahockey.com/page/show/2643109-registration
Parents and guardians are reminded that to play hockey within Winnipeg, players must first register through the Hockey Canada Registry before registering with community clubs. There is no fee to obtain your Hockey Canada Registration number. 
Hockey Winnipeg is also requiring parents and/or guardians to complete the online “Respect-in-Sport” program, at a cost of $12. The course can be found at https://hmbparent.respectgroupinc.com/
