More than 75 brave souls will step off the side of the 17-storey Artis REIT Royal Bank Building (220 Portage Ave.) all for a good cause.

The SMD Foundation/Easter Seals Manitoba is hosting its 2013 Easter Seals Drop Zone on Aug. 15 at 201 Portage Courtyard from 7:40 a.m. to 3 p.m. There, the public can watch as ‘superheroes’ from Manitoba businesses, media, and the surrounding community rappel in support of children, youth, and adults with disabilities in Manitoba.

While there the public can enjoy music and corporate booths from Boston Pizza, IDC Communications, WestJet, GoodLife Fitness, and Virgin 103.1 FM. There will also be contests and free handouts.
