Property developer Kothari Group last week donated $4,000 to Willow Place Inc. as part of the developer’s commitment to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Kothari donated $500 per unit sold from its new St. Vital condominium building, Van Hull Place, located at St. Mary’s Road and Van Hull Way. Pictured are (from left): Marcie Wood, community co-ordinator of Willow Place; Lesley Lindberg, executive director of Willow Place; Eugene Heinrichs, Van Hull Place project manager; Anupam Kothari, Van Hull Place development company president; and Azim Kabani, Van Hull Place site supervisor.
Willow Place is a 45-bed women’s shelter (formerly known as Osborne House) which provides approximately 9,000 bed-nights per year to more than 800 women.
