The 3rd annual Between the Pipes sponge hockey tournament has been hailed a success by key organizer Sarah Tone. The event, a fundraiser for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, was held recently at Norwood Community Centre (87 Walmer St.). The tournament is a tribute to Tone’s father, Wayne, who died of Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Dysplasia (ARVD) in 2006 at the age of 44.
