The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba is holding a free public education event titled What Can Brain Imaging Tell Us About Dementia? The event, which will be presented by leading radiologist Dr. Marco Essig (pictured), will take place in the Samuel N. Cohen Auditorium at St. Boniface Hospital Albrechtsen Research Centre (351 Tache Ave.) on Jan. 26 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Attendees will learn how information gleaned from brain imaging can assist in the diagnosis and treatment of dementia, organizers say.
