Artists from Cirque du Soleil’s KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities recently visited students at Centre scolaire Léo-Rémillard for a question-and-answer session, which was followed by an attempt to have 150 students juggle together to help celebrate Canada’s 150 anniversary. The artists were aerialist Anne Weissbecker, singer Sophie Guay and juggler Gabriel Beaudoin. For the last five years, the Dakota Crossing-based school has produced a Cirque-style show that highlights the many talents of the students, organizers say. As an after-school activity, nearly a third of the student population is involved with the production in some capacity
