Festival’s annual beard contest underway

Festival du Voyageur’s annual beard contest is back. Registration for the 36th edition of the contest, held in partnership with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, took place on Dec. 8 at Festival’s Provencher Boulevard-based offices and on Dec. 9 at Waltz On In Barber Shop, located at 68 Sherbrook St., when registrants received a free straight-razor shave.
