Louis Riel School Division officially celebrated a $4.1 million renovation to Collège Jeanne-Sauvé (1128 Dakota St.) with a ceremony and ribbon cutting on Oct. 17. The event also included a tour, which highlighted a new commons area, outdoor theatre and front foyer at the St. Vital-based school. In a news release, LRSD’s superintendent Christian Michalik said the renovation is part of the “nearly $9 million investment in LRSD infrastructure in 2018-2019.” Pictured: the outdoor renovations (below) and a pipe ceremony at the opening event (right)
