City opens new rink in Royalwood

The City of Winnipeg has built an outdoor skating rink in Royalwood for the time this year, according to Coun. Brian Mayes (St. Vital). Mayes said he has received positive feedback and gratitude from area residents since it was built, and that he “hopes to keep this rink in place in future years.” The rink is located in Royalwood Park, at 254 Shorehill Dr. Pictured, from left: Andrew Smith, MLA for Lagimodière, and Mayes, at the rink.
