Comic books aren’t just for kids anymore.

Learn how to draw comics at Artists Emporium (1610 St. James St.) from 6 to 9 p.m. on the evenings of Oct. 29, Nov. 5, and Nov. 12.

The classes will be taught by local comic book colourist Ian Sokoliwski, who has worked on comics such as Iron Man, Conan the Barbarian, and Spawn.

Supplies required for the class are 2H, HB and 2B pencils, a 8.5” x 11” sketchbook, and a pad of Bristol paper. These items can be purchased at the store.

The course costs $65. To register, visit artistsemporium.net/workshops/comic-book-illustration-course.html

Those interested can also register at the store, but it must be done before the first class.
