Liquor Marts open on Louis Riel Day

If you want to raise a glass on Louis Riel Day, which falls on Mon., Feb. 17, most Manitoba Liquor Mart locations will be open.

All Winnipeg locations (excluding cityplace), the Pembina Liquor Mart Express, Airport Liquor Mart Express and Park West Liquor Mart Express, and all Brandon locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Locations in Portage la Prairie, Thompson, Gimli, Selkirk, Dauphin, Flin Flon, Lac du Bonnet, The Pas, Stonewall, Beausejour, Neepawa, Virden, Minnedosa, Morden, Russell and Killarney will be open from noon to 6 p.m.

Liquor Marts located in Winnipeg’s cityplace, and in Roblin, Winkler, Churchill, Steinbach, Swan River, Pine Falls and Carman will be closed.

The hours at privately owned liquor vendors in rural Manitoba are subject to arrangements within their municipalities.

All licensed premises, including hotel beer vendors, may be open for liquor service on Feb. 17.
