Rock, paper, scissors showdown

Sturgeon Heights’ annual Joes vs. Pros event saw students from throughout the St. James-Assiniboia School Division come out for a competitive match of rock, paper, scissors on Dec. 7. Students from Linwood, Heritage, George Waters, Strathmillan, Lincoln, Sansome, Phoenix, Bruce, Crestview and Lakewood schools joined SH ‘Joes’ as well as professional athletes from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders for the event. Students had to raise money for Sam’s Christmas to get a chance to play.
