Bear Clan goes west

On March 29, West Broadway welcomed the Bear Clan to the neighbourhood with a community feast at 175 Colony St. The patrol group has created a new chapter for the west central neighbourhood, while the north group continues its work. The Bear Clan is “an Indigenous-led community based solution to provide a sense of safety, solidarity and belonging to both its members and the communities they serve,” according to the group’s Facebook page.
