Take part in Fort Garry needs assessment

Just under a year ago, I was honoured to be elected to the Manitoba Legislature by the great people of Fort Garry. Campaigning last summer allowed me to meet many of the folks in this great community, listen to their ideas, and learn about the priorities for how our community can be best served moving forward.

As I come to the end of my first year in office, I have been reflecting on the unprecedented challenges that Manitoban families have faced over this past year. Many have made incredible sacrifices in the face of hardship, particularly financially and emotionally, and many have worked collaboratively with their neighbours to support one another. I want to thank the people of the Fort Garry constituency for your continued support.

As our communities continue to gradually reopen, I am reaching out to Fort Garry residents to hear their concerns and issues via our community needs assessment.

At present, we are only looking for feedback from residents of our constituency. If you are unsure of whether you live within this boundary, please visit https://www.electionsmanitoba.ca/en/Voting/MyVotingInfo to determine if you reside in the Fort Garry constituency.

This survey should take about 10 minutes of your time and the results will remain confidential. My priority as an MLA will always be to respond and address the key areas for our community, and your responses will allow me to prioritize my time where it needs to be best spent. I strongly encourage you to respond and share your ideas, concerns, and suggestions to move our community forward. The survey will be available into at least mid-September.

My staff are happy to conduct the survey by phone or arrange for a paper copy of the survey to be provided. The more responses we get, the better picture of our community we can discern.
