The aircraft was piloted by Major Brian “Skid” Morrissette, chief training pilot with the 402 Squadron of the Canadian Armed Forces.
St. Mary’s Academy is marking its 150th anniversary this year and has a slate of activities planned for students and alumni over the coming months. The school was first established on May 1, 1869, two years before Manitoba became a province and four years before Winnipeg was established as a city.
