Winnipeg High School Football League finals set

The Winnipeg high school football season will come to a close this week at Investors Group Field.

Championship games in the ANAVETS (AAA) and CTV Bowls (AA) will be played Nov. 10 at 5 and 7: 30 p.m., respectively.

Vincent Massey Collegiate (ranked second) and St. Paul’s High School (ranked first) will square off against eachother in the ANAVETS Bowl at 7:30 p.m.

The undefeated Crusaders met the Trojans in last year’s championship game, with VMC taking home the title 22-12.

In the AA division, Kelvin High School will play the Steinbach Sabres in the CTV Bowl Championship. Kick-off is at 5 p.m. During regular season play, Kelvin competed in the AAA division.

Admission to the championship games is $5 and children 12 and under are free.
