Windsor Park Collegiate has a new championship banner to hang from the rafters.
The school, which only started its hockey program two years ago, won the Winnipeg High School Hockey League’s Price Division championship, beating Powerview in two straight games in the finals.
Windsor Park beat Collège Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau in two games in the quarter-finals, then swept Murdoch MacKay in two games in the semis. The team finished the regular season with a 16-6-0 record, good for third place.
