The U11 A1 River East Royals Grey hockey team made it as far as the city final this season.
After earning a league record of 11-2-3, the U11 A1 Royals Grey went into the playoffs ranked fifth before winning four straight games to make it to the city championship. The Royals then took on the Selkirk Fishermen, losing Game 1 8-4, battling back to even the series with a 3-2 win in Game 2, before ultimately losing 3-2 in the deciding match on March 19.
