Local golf teams qualify for national scramble competition

Members of two local golf teams have shot their way to a national scramble competition.
Teams representing Assiniboine Golf Club in Winnipeg and Quarry Oaks Golf Course in Steinbach, Man., recently qualified for the RBC PGA Scramble National Final presented by BMW, which will be held at Cabot Cape Breton, N.S., from Oct. 4 to 8.
The teams qualified at the Manitoba Regional Final, which was held at Southwood Golf & Country Club on Aug. 12, to earn their spots.
