The Rotary Club of Winnipeg Charleswood, which acts as custodian of the Assiniboine Forest, has installed a new sign at the forest entrance on Grant Avenue. The signage is part of a Rotary Club campaign to raise $800,000 to make improvements to the public space, including improved signage; increased parking; expanded and improved hard surface and wood-chip trails; and the addition of public washrooms, benches and rest areas.
