A federal byelection will be held in the riding of Winnipeg South Centre on Monday, June 19 to elect a member of Parliament to replace Jim Carr of the Liberal Party of Canada, who died of cancer on Dec. 12, 2022.

Boundaries:
Covers 42 square kilometres, bounded by the Assiniboine River to the north, the Red River to the east, McReary Road and Park Boulevard North to the west, Bishop Grandin and McGillivray Boulevards to the south. Includes the neighbourhoods of Crescentwood, Fort Rouge, Fort Garry, Linden Woods, Osborne Village, River Heights and Tuxedo.
Population: 94,803 (2021)
Number of electors: 69,554 (2021)

Tylor Baer, People’s Party of Canada
Ben Carr, Liberal Party of Canada
Douglas Hemmerling, Green Party of Canada
Julia Riddell, New Democratic Party of Canada
Damir Stipanovic, Conservative Party of Canada
